Had dinner here. The food was made to order. We had the spaghetti with meatballs and chicken linguini. It was delicious. There was a man singing and playing acoustic. It was fabulous đź‘Ś. Our server, lacy was incredibly timely with everything.
Has a patio, pet menu and TVs where they play sports.
What a fantastic evening at Rascal in Sedona. Lacy was our server extraordinare and such a kind, thoughtful, and professional server.
We started with drinks as it was Happy Hour. The ambiance is cool with great backgtound music and TVs for those looking to watch the game. Lacy outlined the menu choices, answered questions, and truly exhibited passion for many of the dishes. The chef did a fantastic job with my wife's grilled snapper tacos, and I had the wonderfully prepared bacon wrapped meatloaf over mashed potatoes with fresh carrots and delicious green beans. Both meals were fantastic, as was Lacy's attentive service. After dinner, we finished with the homemade blueberry cobbler Ala mode....Wow! I also had a cup of fresh brewed coffee. What a great hidden. Gem here in Sedona. Highly recommended.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and I was not disappointed. Though the prices are higher, the quality of the food is as well. I ordered a cup of their tomato pesto soup with homemade garlic croutons and a half order of their bisquuts and gravy. In both cases, these are top five dishes ever for me in these categories. The soup is velvet smooth and the you can taste the tomatoes and garlic with pesto in a balanced way. The biscuits have a sweet hint of honey and the gravy is smooth with accents of chives and peppers. The sausage was divine. Very impressed with my meal. Soup, biscuits and garcy, and a Diet Coke was $26.36, but worth every penny. Highly recommend these menu items.
We ordered the ribeye and salmon dish for two.
The ribeye was medium, moist and flavorful.
The salmon chef's special was also good. We also ordered sangria and sprite. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner.
There was live music, which added to the atmosphere. Finally, there's something I missed. When you check out the next day, you'll have to pay a bill that includes the amount of the service charge and various resort fees that were listed as food instead. Make sure you eat and check your receipts carefully!
This is the restaurant attached to the Wilde Resort (which the bestie and I stayed at). We ate here for dinner and breakfast the following day. Long story short, we both really enjoyed our meals here.
For dinner, she ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the hummus plate. My friend loved her fish tacos. The avocado on top was neatly placed and perfectly ripe. The amount of fish in the tacos was astronomical, which we love to see!
As for my dish, I really don’t like spicy foods. When I saw white bean vegetable hummus, the last flavor profile I was thinking of was SPICY HEAT. However, the first thing I tasted was that heat licking at the back of my throat. There was this red seasoning sprinkled on top of the pile of hummus, but I dipped my carrot in the only part where there wasn’t that seasoning, and it was still spicy! My friend couldn’t taste the same spiciness I did, but then again, she can handle the heat - she prefers it, in fact!
On the other hand, I quite liked the girth of the cucumber slices and the crunch of the carrots that I used to dip into the hummus. The pita bread was also warm and very soft. I mean, I still enjoyed the taste of the hummus, I just wish they would say say on the menu, “this is spicy,” or at least put a pepper symbol by the name of the dish like some other restaurants do.
We also came here again for breakfast the following day. We both got the yogurt parfaits and split some croissants, which were to die for. They were so flaky and buttery; not to mention, the orange marmalade and citrus butter was a nice bonus. The yogurt parfaits were huge and the granola was not only delicious, but plentiful.
The service was fast, the servers were super attentive and friendly, and overall, we both enjoyed BOTH meals here. They really do a good job at replenishing waters!
Ok one of the little gems in Sedona
We had the medallion and chicken Parnassian.
The chef made a fantastic what tasted like roasted red bell pepper tomato side sauce with my medallion that kicked it into spectacular I want more of that sauce please. Our waiter Alex was fantastic, professional on top of his customers making sure the little details were taken care of. Highly recommend place. Definitely with the value.
The food was really good, but the service was the highlight. Very attentive, the server knew the mention, checked back often and asked specific questions about the quality, not your typical "how is your food" check. The presentation of the food was beautiful. The Shishito peppers were fantastic, blistered perfectly and plated well. I had the Reuben, good flavor but the cheese was not quite melted and the bread was a little soggy, not crisp enough. Good flavor in the corned beef, sliced nice and thin. The fish tacos were large and delicious. The atmosphere was bland but ok.
We loved this place. Menu had good variety of items. Their signature drinks were definitely đź’Ż Staff was on the ball. Depending on the day you may want to get a reservation
